My husband and I are going on a weekend road trip away, but it’s going to be very short and driving intensive. It will be about 10 hours one way. So we are leaving early tomorrow morning, attending a Saturday wedding, then leaving early Sunday morning. The nice thing is this means there isn’t much to pack! Here’s my quick list:
Clothes
- Friday clothes (have laid out tonight): loose tank top, athletic shorts, underwear, flip flops
- Dressy-ish top, jean shorts, underwear
- Pajamas
- Swim Suit for hotel
- Maxi dress for wedding, dressy sandals, underwear
- Tank top/shorts for drive home, underwear
- Rain Coat
Other
- Travel Size Face products (cleanser, toner, moisturizer, eye cream)
- Travel Size fragrance (body mist + perfume)
- Hair brush
- Hair Products (heat protectant, hairspray)
- Curling Iron
- Makeup Bag
This will all easily fit in my backpack. Basically I have two sets of driving outfits, one outfit in case we go out into the city at all, and then the outfit for the wedding. I also will have a pair of socks and tennis shoes in my car just in case. Again, this trip is super short so there isn’t a need to pack much!
